Join the APO chapters in the Upper Midwest for a weekend packed full of Leadership, Friendship, and Service!
Let’s All Go to Wisconsin!
It’s our first big in-person, weekend-long conference since 2019! Mark your calendars for November 11-13 and plan your travel – we’re ready to spend the weekend with chapters from three entire REGIONS of APO. Road trip? Train ride? Does Megabus even still exist? However you get there, you’ll definitely want to be there.
APO members from across the Upper Midwest will be gathering in Racine, WI: you’ll meet up with chapters from Region E (Iowa/Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota/Wisconsin), Region F (Downstate Illinois and the Greater Chicagoland Area), and Region G (Michigan). If everyone makes it, that’s 43 chapters! Add in alumni, session leaders, volunteers, section chairs, region chairs, and APO leadership, and it’s sure to be an incredible weekend of fellowship, networking, learning, and fun.
Registration includes all the info and materials you’ll need for the weekend’s programming, plus a goodie bag, Saturday lunch, Saturday snack, Saturday night catered reception, conference sessions, and some APO swag!
About the Conference
The overall theme of this conference is about adapting to and overcoming the changes brought forth by the pandemic. All events and sessions for the weekend will be centered around giving you, our chapters and students, the tools you need to make Alpha Phi Omega better equipped to succeed in this “new normal” of college life.

Conference Topics
This year’s workshops and sessions are being developed to be more interactive, more engaging, and more useful, with real-world takeaways and information you’ll want to share with your chapter. Since there are more sessions than timeslots, we recommend bringing plenty of people from your chapter and making a plan to divide and conquer at each session you find useful.
- Chapter Operations
- Effective and Engaging Recruitment
- Fellowship Programs
- Leadership Programs
- Modern Chapter Finance
- Post-Pandemic Pledge Education
- Rituals, Ceremonies, and Traditions
- Service Programs
- Transition from Active to Alumni
More details will be shared as the dates get closer, and we’re very much looking forward to having you join us at the Delta Hotel of Racine to not only learn from each other, but also connect with chapters and alumni and re-forge those fraternal bonds that the pandemic made difficult to experience.
Registration Details
As we mentioned before, your registration includes all materials for the weekend, plus a goodie bag, Saturday lunch, Saturday snack, Saturday night catered reception, conference programming, and some APO swag!
The three regions are pleased to be able to subsidize the cost of this conference – that means we’re making it cheaper for you to attend! Student members who register early can get as much as 50% off, and other levels of registrations will also see a pretty hefty discount off the usual price. We are also covering the Eventbrite fees for all student registrations to make this as cost-effective as possible.
- PLEDGES from Regions E/F/G are only $55 through November 6. This goes for members of extension groups too!
- ACTIVE MEMBERS from Regions E/F/G: $60 before October 23, prices go up after that. There are discounts for Life Members!
- ALUMNI: $75 until October 23, discounts for Life Members and chapter advisors.
- Students from other regions are welcome to join us as well! Sign up for just $70 until October 23.
- Late registration (November 7 -10) is $100. Walk-up registrations are limited and are the full, unsubsidized cost of $120. Individuals wishing to pay the full conference registration and not use a subsidy from the regions can register at any time for $120.
Refund Policy: We will be able to offer refunds, minus Eventbrite processing fees (for both students and alumni alike) for any registrations canceled within 30 days of the conference, after which no refunds are available. You can transfer your registration for free to another person of the same type (ie, pledge to pledge, active to active, alumni to alumni) at any time by emailing conference at aporegionf.org.
Hotel Information
A block of rooms has been held at the Delta Hotel of Racine at the rate of $85/night (a great discount from their usual $127/night!) for four-person occupancy. Split four ways, that’s not even $22 a night! We strongly encourage you to plan on staying both nights of the conference, as our programming will go long into the night on both Friday and Saturday, and our day will begin early in the morning on Saturday. There are no scheduled activities on Sunday, so plan to leave at your leisure that morning.
Travel Information and Parking
The hotel is accessible by car from Interstate 41/94and there is no charge for on-site parking.
Amtrak has 12 trips a day to and from the nearby Sturtevant (SVT) station, which is just a short, 5-10 minute cab/Uber/Lyft ride away from the hotel. Those traveling by train should book through amtrak.com for the best rate.
